As dean of the College of Agriculture at Wollo University, it is a privilege to lead a vibrant institution dedicated to advancing agricultural education, research, and community development. Since our establishment in 2007, we have experienced remarkable growth, expanding both our academic programs and research initiatives to address the evolving needs of the agricultural sector.
Our mission is to nurture skilled professionals and leaders who are prepared to confront the pressing challenges of food security, sustainable development, and climate change. We offer a diverse range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including Agricultural Economics, Rural development and Agricultural Extension, Plant Breeding, Animal Production, Agronomy, Forest Management and Climate change and Natural Resource Management and more. Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed to blend practical, hands-on experience with cutting-edge knowledge, ensuring that our graduates are well-equipped for successful careers in agriculture and its allied fields.
