During the Ethiopia monitoring and evaluation visit, the BvAT team met with four members from Wollo university who are spearheading the implementation of pillar one activities. The team presented the status of implementation of their activities, challenges, and lessons learned.
It was noted that the team has been able to pick up well on the implementation of their planned activities despite the fact that they officially signed their agreement with the CLO a month ago, April 2022, although some of the activities are still behind the implementation timelines.
They indicated that they are closely working with the CLO, pillar 2 and 3 partners to ensure that activities they plan and undertake complement one another for the benefit of the smallholder farmers. They also promised to put in place appropriate strategies to ensure the smooth implementation of the initiative.
